Microfiction: Attitude, Cattitude

Welcome to today's microfiction! Hope you had a great weekend.

Grandma's Goulash graciously hosts Succinctly Yours, the wonderful meme for those of us addicted to microfiction. The trick is to write a story in 140 characters or less using the photo below as inspiration. To add to the challenge is the word of the week, "jubilant."  My stories are below.

Attitude, Attitude
(134 characters)

“Hey! Hey! Hey-hey-hey! Hey! Hey!”
Oscar’s jubilant attitude made him a favorite
with his furry friends. With the neighbors?
Not so much.

Cattitude, Cattitude
(104)

Boris was always the first of the pack
to see Fluffy flip them off with her tail.

Thanks for visiting! See you on Wednesday for the naked truth about . . . SSSCAT!

Have a great week!

Both of these are great; believe I like the bunny one best though. The picture has me thinking. I have a full day and it probably won't include writing, but that picture does have my mind going! Have a good day yourself!

Hi Lisa ~~ You have written about a very flip prone cat. I wonder if she flip flops?
She ought to be flipping those unkind neighbors. :)

I can always count on you for laughs, Lisa! Both are hilarious. We have lots of geese who enjoy the benefits of the small lake near our house and those geese say the same things--“Hey! Hey! Hey-hey-hey! Hey! Hey!” Jerry sometimes has dreams about someone yelling that over and over and then he wakes up and it's the geese honking. I love the word "cattitude!"

I loved the snippets as much as the flying dog.

Ha! The second one still has me laughing, Lisa ... I never thought of that before, but that is probably just what the cats are doing, lol.

What a cute picture. Hope your Monday is grand, my friend.

There's a ring of truth to Cattitude. Our border collie never tires of running after our three cats, who invariably sneer and give him that flip. Nicely done, Lisa.
