Thank you, everyone, for your kind thoughts and prayers for Daniel. He has today been flown to the Shriner's burn center in Cincinnati. He is still on a respirator and has yet to awaken, though he is responsive.
We have been told that most of Daniel's burns were sustained in an attempt to save another teen from the fire. He did manage to get her out of the house before going through the window himself. Please keep her in your thoughts and prayers also; she suffered burns over 90% of her body and continues to remain in critical condition.
Surely so many positive thoughts and prayers cannot go unnoticed by God or the Universe, and I thank each of you again for taking the time to remember these kids.

Those of us who whine and gripe about inconsequential things should stop and consider how fortunate we are.
I will continue to keep hopeful thoughts for Daniel and his friend.
Lisa, I just read about Daniel and I have started praying for him and the girl. He was so good and courageous and I hope they both heal completely and quickly.

Oh, my. I'm doing as Michael G-G is. Glad that they are getting the best help available; and am proud that Daniel was a hero.
Been praying off an on all day for Daniel and now will add his friend to the prayer list.
