Prayers Welcome

I recently promised you the naked truth about clutter. Yesterday was an emotional day, however, and writing had no part in it, so that topic is shelved for now.  What I would like to do is ask for your prayers.

My 17-year-old great-nephew, Daniel, survived a house fire yesterday morning. He dove from a second story window to escape the flames, sustaining second and third degree burns over 50% of his body.  He was airlifted to a university hospital burn unit and is now in the ICU in a medication-induced coma while the hospital staff works to protect him from infection. The doctors' comments are guarded at this point.

Embracing positive thinking, we're looking ahead to his recovery, which will include multiple interventions, skin grafts, plastic surgeries, and therapy. Before any of that happens, of course, he must first come off the respirator and become well enough to leave ICU. By God's grace, one step at a time.

Your prayers are greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Lisa

Prayers on the way, Lisa.

We had a major house fire 16 years ago. No serious injuries, thankfully, but it was a very traumatic experience.
