A cry in the wilderness . . .Fire Chief Duncan McCall is touring the blackened remains when he hears the most unexpected sound of all: a crying child.
Untouched . . .She is dubbed Angel Baby Doe, a 2-year-old waif found in what was the epicenter of the devastating blaze. She is pristine in spite of the smoldering ash, and how she came to be there is a mystery.
It soon becomes apparent she is no ordinary child.
Duncan is determined to discover her origin. Is she the pawn in a great hoax or a bona fide gift from God? Menace or miracle? Duncan’s values and beliefs are tested again and again as he unravels the mystery and the final soul-wrenching revelation that is Angel Baby.

Your blurb gave me chills even before I realized you and I have a couple of key words in common. Spooky stuff...which I love. I would make a special trip to the bookstore for this one!

Girl, every time I read your book blurb, I wonder why I attempt! Ha, but YAY, I am playing! Obermoeller is back... well, I'm not sure for how long, but... I would love to read the entire story of Angel Baby! Way to go.

Lisa, this has been a greatly interesting development of character and story. It causes a reader to become an active participant, rather than a passive spectator. There are uanswered questions, but clues along the way. Very well written!

I wondered about fire, when I looked at the pic. Glad to see that you went with it. This is a ell written blurb that is sure to have wide appeal.
