Big thanks to Vanilla Mama for passing the blogging love in the form of the above award. A visit to Vanilla Mama's blog is always entertaining, especially since she's been busy catching up on missed Book Blurb Fridays. Give her blog a visit!
In keeping with the spirit of the award, I'm passing the love to the three awesome ladies in my critique group. I swiped this photo of our little band of writers from Deb's blog. Here we are, the Inklets:

So, the Pass The Love award is duly given to my pals Debra Mayhew, Cathy C. Hall, and Tanya Valentine. These ladies keep my writing honest and suffer through my stinky first (and second, and third) drafts. Click on each name to visit their personal blogs. It's worth the clicks!
And now on to this week's Book Blurb Friday, where 150 words must sell your story.
If you are new to this blog, please click HERE or click the tab under the blog header for details of the Book Blurb Friday meme. This is the shortened, abridged version:
Write a book jacket blurb (150 words or less) so enticing that potential readers would feel compelled to buy the book.
Below is this week's "book cover," generously offered for our creative blurbs by the lovely Lynn Obermoeller. My book blurb follows:
Old Loves
Mason and Jennifer Wyatt, owners of the antique shop Old Loves, restore a 1920s Royal typewriter, and the clunky apparatus symbolizes their determination to succeed in the antiques business. With Mason’s unexpected death, Jennifer struggles to keep the shop afloat, and competition from Golden Memories, owned by the charming Rex Golden, thins her customer pool.
When Rex offers to buy Old Loves, Jennifer considers selling. But typed messages begin appearing on the old Royal and, convinced they are from Mason urging against it, Jennifer refuses Rex’s offer.
Frustrated by his inability to dissuade Jennifer’s belief in Mason’s ghost, Rex offers this bargain: Prove Mason is the mystery typist and Rex will sell Golden Memories to Jennifer for one dollar. Otherwise, she forfeits Old Loves, typewriter and all.
It’s a gamble, but Jennifer will do anything for Old Loves. Much to his own surprise, Rex will do anything for Jennifer. (149 words)
I opted for romance this week, along with a little ghostly goings on. Can't wait to see what other blurbers have created based on this photo!
Please put your name and link in Mr. Linky, below, if you are participating in Book Blurb Friday. If you have no blurb to share, please do not install a link. It will be treated as spam and removed. Thanks.
Please scroll past the Linky widget to see our "book cover" for next week.
Here is our "book cover" for Book Blurb Friday #20, provided by my daughter, Christina.

I would read that book, Lisa. A romance with a typing ghost? Perfect!

Hi Lisa,
Love the photos and the blurb. The mysterious messages on the typwriter hooked me right away.
And thanks for the mention of my blog.
Donna
Oh my goodness, I would love to read this! As Kay says, romance, ghosts and writing all in one book...what could be better? Sometimes, BBF can be frustrating, since we read the beginnings of stories but never get to know the endings...LOL
I love romance! Once again, I find myself hoping you'll write this story.
Lisa - of course I had to write on this one since it's one of my favorite photos! Thank you for using it. And I LOVED your blurb - as always! It's a good thing I write mine before I read yours. Your blurbs read like a real book blurb, which like someone above said - it's frustrating not being able to read the entire book! Also love the photo of you and your writing pals. I'm sorry I haven't been playing as much, but after I struggled with this BBF, I think I understand why.
Sounds like a perfect romance!
Aw, thanks for passing the love! And while I'm here, I want to pass the love to your wonderful photographers--You always have such wonderful, evocative photos!
P.S. Speaking of wonderful, read your Cape Cod essay. Lovely!
What an awesome sounding book! I would definitely read it!
Definitely one for my shopping list - a meaty and intriguing tale promised here with a baddie maybe coming good. Lynn's photo was especially inspirational.
[By the way - I schedule the post for my BBF in case the internet is being dodgy, hence the later-arriving Mr.Linkky entry]
Idiot me - please delete first Linky because of miss-spelling
I forgot to mention I love the picture of the four of you! and I'll check out the other gals' blogs, too!
Ooh...love and intrigue-I love this! Boy, I just realized I haven't read a good love story in a while. It's time for that or a good chick flick this weekend-LOL!
A little intrigue, a lot of romance, and a typing ghost; a great weekend read for sure.
Mystery AND romance... an exciting mixture.
Oh wow....ask me if I love this?!!! I'd answer, yes indeedy! This is just too awesome for words. Keep on with this story, it'll be a winner. Trust me. Love it.

Ps...congrats on the award.
That typewriter is way cool and so is your book blurb!

A bittersweet romance - probably quite a weepy, at times. I would enjoy this (crying is cathartic;})
I love your take on the photo - you do a wonderful job of setting the scene and hooking the interest. Great pic for next week too :D
That typewriter lends itself so well to ghostly story inspirations. Great book blurb. Love next wks pic, makes me think of the 3 billy goats gruff :O)
You and I had similar ideas about the typing ghost--in fact, I thought about not publishing mine, but they're otherwise completely different (and I couldn't come up with a new one so quickly). But yours has wonderful and endearing touches and great twists. Love it!!
I'm glad I read this AFTER I wrote mine. I'd have felt like I was copying part of the concept, but believe it or not, I had the ghostly idea the minute I saw the typewriter. I just didn't have it formed in my head until now. I like the romantic twist you added.
Thanks, everyone, for participating in Book Blurb Friday! Many of us followed the ghostly vibes from this great picture (thanks, Lynn!). As always I've enjoyed reading the blurbs. :)
Do like your take on the blurb! :) Congrats on the award, my little creation sure has taken on a life of its own.It started as a Valentine for my followers, who knew?! :D
Sorry I have been MIA, temp job is eating my time.

Love your imaginative start.
Wonderful story. It kind of reminds me of a ghostly "You've Got Mail". I would love to read it. I also like how Vanilla Mama is catching up instead of skipping, like I have. I think I'll work on that in my spare time. I love this weeks pic too. Missed ya lots; I'm working hard on getting back on board.
